General Summary of Job Details :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Alternative Investment Fund Administration team. This role focuses on supporting private equity and real estate investment structures through accurate accounting, reporting, and operational support. It is an excellent opportunity for early-career accounting professionals looking to build expertise in fund operations and financial reporting.
Role Summary :
As an Operations Analyst, you will assist in managing accounting and reporting activities for private equity funds and other alternative investment vehicles. The role involves financial statement preparation, transaction processing, reconciliations, investor reporting, and contributing to process improvements within the team.
You should be comfortable working with financial systems and adaptable to learning new tools and applications.
Key Responsibilities :
Execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities
Record journal entries in accounting systems and perform account reconciliations
Prepare fund-level financial statements, including.
Consolidated balance sheet
Income statement
Statement of partners’ capital
Schedule of investments
Cash flow statement
Supporting notes to financial statements
Prepare and process investor capital call and distribution notices
Review fund agreements to assess reporting implications
Identify, communicate, and escalate issues to supervisors as needed
Participate in internal initiatives and special projects
Support continuous improvement efforts within fund administration processes
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
0–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in fund accounting or financial services
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
Strong commitment to client service and professional judgment
Understanding of private equity and real estate fund structures
Familiarity with partnership accounting systems such as Investran or similar applications
