Nielsen is hiring for the role of Software Engineer !
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Deploy and maintain applications in Cloud environments leveraging AWS EBS, EFS, ECS, EKS, ASG, ECR, S3, Lambda, ALBs, NLBs, Route53, etc.
Build, manage and monitor RDS based Postgres databases.
Working with multiple stakeholders and implementing solutions as per the workflow requirements. Assisting stakeholders with troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Gitlab, Terraform, as well as knowledge of Shell Scripting, Python Programming, and the Boto3 SDK, CI/CD
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Ability to write and implement docker files for applications.
Experience integrating workflows with Apache Airflow and messaging technologies like JMS.
Java or AWS Certification is a plus.
Strong coding skills using languages such as Python, Java and bash scripting.
Strong SQL programming skills with databases like Oracle, Postgres and Sybase.
Ability to enhance and maintain applications based on technologies like Sencha Ext JS and Spring boot.
