Associate Consultant – Infrastructure & Climate Advisory
This opportunity is within the Infrastructure & Climate Advisory practice, supporting commercial advisory and transaction-focused engagements across infrastructure sectors. The role involves working throughout the full project lifecycle — from early-stage development and capital structuring to transaction execution and financial advisory.
The position is suited for individuals who are keen to build strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation capabilities while gaining commercial exposure to large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
As an Associate Consultant, you will contribute to client engagements by applying structured analysis and financial insight. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the execution of advisory assignments across sectors such as power & utilities, transport, and social infrastructure
Supporting infrastructure funding and financing mandates in coordination with global or onshore teams
Gaining exposure to various infrastructure delivery models across development, construction, operations, refinancing, and asset monetization stages
Designing and structuring financial models, including preparing outputs and reports for stakeholders
Supporting buy-side and sell-side transaction analysis, including project finance assessments
Identifying and mitigating financial modeling risks in line with internal governance standards
Contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives and practice development efforts
MBA / PGDBM / CFA / CA / Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
1–3 years of relevant experience in areas such as corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, debt syndication, fundraising, project finance, regulatory finance, PPP structures, infrastructure SPVs, or similar transaction-focused roles (preferred but not mandatory)
Technical & Functional Skills :
Strong understanding of financial analysis techniques, including discounted cash flow (DCF), NPV, and IRR calculations
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, along with strong PowerPoint and Word skills
Ability to interpret financial model outputs and present insights effectively to clients or senior stakeholders

Exposure to transaction advisory, project financing, debt or bond financing in infrastructure (advantageous)

Familiarity with PPP/PFI frameworks or experience within specific infrastructure subsectors (beneficial)
Self-motivated with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective team collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
Capability to manage multiple assignments and perform well in high-pressure environments
