General Summary of Job Details :
The S&OP Process Analyst plays an important role in supporting the organization’s Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities. In this position, you will help coordinate the monthly planning cycle by reviewing data, supporting demand and supply planning activities, and ensuring alignment across teams such as sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain. The role also involves monitoring key metrics, creating reports and dashboards, and delivering insights that help improve inventory management and service performance.
Key Responsibilities :
S&OP Process Support
Assist in managing the full Sales and Operations Planning process. This includes gathering data, preparing materials for demand and supply review sessions, and supporting executive-level planning meetings.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Examine historical sales data, market patterns, and inventory performance to identify trends, potential risks, and reasons for forecast deviations. Prepare clear reports that help stakeholders make informed planning decisions.
System and Data Management
Work with planning tools and enterprise systems to maintain forecast data across products and channels. Ensure that planning information remains accurate and updated within internal systems.
Cross-Team Coordination
Collaborate with teams across supply chain, finance, and sales departments to align demand plans with operational capabilities and business objectives.
Continuous Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and planning tasks through automation tools or improved workflows, helping the organization operate more efficiently.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
Education
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Experience
Around 2 years of experience in areas such as supply chain planning, demand forecasting, business analytics, or related operational roles.
Technical Skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including data analysis functions and pivot tables). Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or planning tools is beneficial.
Professional Skills
Strong analytical mindset, effective communication abilities, and experience collaborating with teams across different regions or time zones.
Key Performance Metrics :
Forecast accuracy and forecasting bias
Inventory coverage and safety stock levels
Alignment between planned and actual operations
Timeliness and quality of planning reports and meetings
