GE Healthcare is hiring for the role of Software Engineering Specialist!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Have awareness of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation
Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality
using the technology selected for the project.
Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement
them using language of choice.
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Requirements:
Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
Hands on experience in Java and Testing frameworks like Junits, Mockito
Good knowledge on Data Structures and Algorithms.
Experience with scripting languages-Python, Shell.
Hands on experience in UI technologies- Angular, HTML.
Comfortable working in Linux environment.
Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
Good problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments.
