General Summary of Job Details :
The Associate Analyst will focus on building a foundational understanding of organizational independence principles at the firm level. The role involves executing defined procedures aligned with internal independence guidelines, gaining practical exposure to research and analysis, and updating internal systems after review by senior team members. This work supports audit and client-facing teams in managing and reducing independence-related risks.
The position requires reviewing documentation and requests submitted by engagement teams to assess completeness and accuracy. The analyst will perform reconciliation, conduct research, analyze data using internal finance and compliance tools, and ensure systems reflect accurate and up-to-date information. Regular coordination with project managers and audit or pursuit teams will be necessary to follow up on pending items and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop an understanding of client organizational structures, entity relationships, and attribute classifications in line with internal independence standards.
Gain hands-on experience with internal independence and financial systems and learn how data flows across platforms.
Identify inconsistencies across systems and assist in resolving data mismatches.
Perform secondary research using internal repositories and approved external sources.
Carry out reconciliation and analysis activities and prepare draft observations or recommendations for managerial review.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and calibration sessions, proactively raising questions to clarify process gaps.
Work toward meeting defined performance metrics and quality standards for the role.

Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (finance-related background preferred) from a recognized institution.
Up to one year of experience in research or analytical work, ideally within a professional services environment.
Prior exposure to client or stakeholder interaction is an advantage.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and English communication skills.
Basic awareness of corporate structures, ownership models, auditor independence, and risk management concepts.
Technology Requirements :
Working proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
