General Summary of Job Details :
If you are a ‘Firmware Tester’ looking for an opportunity to grow or want to jump start career as ‘Firmware Tester’ then Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Pune, India location, you will perform firmware testing for real time products such as RTU and Flow computers as part of Scrum team member. Suitable candidates are capable who can take ownership and deliver results. You’ll be employed for Emerson Innovation Centre, Pune (EICP).
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Attend regular team meeting to understand requirements, develop test cases, conduct peer review of test cases, create automation scripts, perform regression testing etc.
Provide regular status to local team leader or project manager.
Participating in quality audits where necessary.
Adhere to local and international Emerson principles, practices, and procedures.
Who You are:
You will be self-moving firmware tester with strong engineering fundamentals and looking into details of requirements, deep thinker and innovative. Teamwork and Quality with timeliness is very important to you and gel with team culture.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Must have Good Working knowledge of any high-level language such as C#/C++/C
Strong engineering concepts
Good to have knowledge of Modbus, DNP3
PLC, RTU, SCADA knowledge
Engineering Graduate in Electronics/Electricals/Computer/Instrumentation
Knowledge in Electronics/Instrumentation would be added advantage
Good communication skills
Experience level 0 to 2 years
Added Advantage: LabView
