General Summary of Job Details :
Cornerstone are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building modern web applications and working with cloud technologies. The successful candidate should have practical knowledge of React, Node.js, TypeScript, and either .NET or Java, along with familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD practices.
In this role, you will help develop and maintain scalable cloud-based applications that support our platform’s functionality. You will collaborate with various teams such as DevOps, cloud infrastructure, QA, and product engineering to deliver reliable and secure solutions that improve platform performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Build, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, and .NET or Java.
Support the development and automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates.
Utilize AWS cloud services including compute, storage, and API management tools to develop scalable and secure systems.
Contribute to integrating AI and machine learning features offered through AWS services to enhance product capabilities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to convert functional requirements into effective technical implementations.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply improvements to ensure stability and reliability.
Develop and manage database queries, schemas, and data structures across both relational and non-relational databases.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation to maintain development standards.
Stay updated with emerging frameworks, development tools, and cloud engineering best practices.
Preferred Technology Stack :
Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
Backend: Node.js, .NET (Core / ASP.NET), Java, RESTful APIs
Databases: SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
Cloud & DevOps: AWS services, Docker, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation
Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
0–2 years of experience in full stack development or similar software engineering roles.
Practical knowledge of React, Node.js, TypeScript, and backend development using .NET or Java.
Familiarity with building or deploying applications in AWS cloud environments.
Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows, containerization technologies like Docker, and infrastructure automation.
Interest or exposure to AI/ML services within cloud platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of application security, scalability, and performance optimization principles.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills in a collaborative environment.
