General Summary of Job Details :
Accounts Payable (AP) processes to join our finance team based in Bangalore. The role requires practical experience in handling invoices, managing vendor relationships, processing payments, and performing reconciliations. Familiarity with procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles, internal compliance standards, and ERP platforms is important. The candidate should also be capable of managing payment schedules, addressing vendor concerns, and ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and update vendor records within the ERP system, including onboarding new vendors and modifying existing profiles.
Process vendor invoices efficiently while ensuring adherence to defined turnaround times.
Follow applicable regional policies and regulatory guidelines during transaction processing.
Review and initiate vendor payments in line with agreed payment terms.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries through coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Track vendor aging reports and proactively address outstanding issues.
Manage shared mailboxes and ensure timely responses to queries.
Prepare and monitor reports related to pending approvals, held invoices, and outstanding liabilities.
Generate ad hoc reports to support project teams, operations, and finance leadership.
Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks, including SOX requirements.
Support audit activities and assist with periodic financial reporting tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to service level agreements (SLAs)
Familiarity with business processes, systems, and tools
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft is an advantage
